Learning a new language is always difficult. It is probably going to take me many months before I can get used to listening to Korean conversations, let alone speaking it.

I am currently trying to learn it by myself for now before my course begins (and also to try to score a little better on the placement test so that I don’t restart from scratch again). But I really do see the value of signing up for a language class, since they are able to set the rate of learning and progression. It is nice to just pay attention and do your homework and see yourself grow just by showing up in class. I hope that is the case in my Korean Language course in Hanyang.
