The customs experience was rather smooth. Having already done my Q-pass quarantine declaration, I just breezed through the checks. The customs officer also did not give me any trouble as I already had a printed copy of my student D4 visa.
I was really impressed at the sheer speed and efficiency of the PCR test in the airport. Its 80,000 KRW, which is no small sum, but it was over in about 5 minutes. Granted, there wasn’t any queue. Also, I got the results about an hour and a half after the test. All I had to do was update my Q-pass to reflect my negative PCR certificate. Now I’m free to roam Korea!
